Where passengers are unable to travel due to invalid or mislaid travel documents (e.g. passport, visas), no refund is allowed for the unused portion of any ticketed services. Any complaint whilst travelling should be made immediately to the local authorities, hotel management, service operators or your guide for expediency purposes. Should clients miss pre-booked services after making no attempt to resolve issues locally, prior to contacting BS in Australia and therefore experiencing a delayed response due to differing time zones, compensation may not be offered.
PERSONALISED ITINERARIES:
The region we cover is extensive and we often receive special requests for itineraries or quotes in areas not featured on this website. Although we are pleased to work on such requests, please understand that this requires many hours of work and research. To do this we require a non-refundable deposit of $165 per booking to cover time and communication costs. Should our quote be accepted, the deposit will then become part of your full payment.
DOCUMENTATION:
Documentation is normally forwarded to you or your travel agent within 3 weeks of your travel arrangements. If you are departing Australia prior to this please advise your consultant at the time of reservation. If it is necessary to courier documents to an overseas address this will be at the clients expense. If documents are lost or an amendment is made which necessitates the re-issue of documents, a charge of $55 will apply.
FORCED CANCELLATION:
BS/ITG and the tour operators represented on this website reserve the right to cancel any tour up to 56 days before departure if the minimum number of participants required to operate the tour is not reached, or for any other reason we deem necessary or beyond our control, including unstable political conditions. In the event of a tour cancellation, alternative arrangements will be recommended. If a suitable substitution is not found, you will be fully refunded, less any charges incurred by us from international suppliers.
PASSPORTS & VISAS:
Australian citizens must hold a current passport valid for at least six months after your return to Australia. Visas are currently required for Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Central Asia and China. It is the responsibility of the individual traveller to obtain the required visas before departure. Failure to do so resulting in the necessity to cancel your travel arrangements will incur normal cancellation penalties.
INSURANCE:
Cancellation and refund conditions are strictly enforced so we recommend that you carry comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond your control.
