PERSONALISED ITINERARIES:
The region we cover is extensive and we often receive special requests for itineraries or quotes in areas which are not featured on the BS/IT website or in the brochure. Although we are pleased to work on such requests, please understand that this request requires many hours of work and research. Before work commences, we will require a non-refundable deposit of $110 per booking to cover time and communication costs. Should our quote be accepted, the deposit will then become part of your full payment.
ADMINISTRATION FEES:
A non-refundable administration fee of $33.00 (incl GST) applies to booking with a value of under $1000. Additional booking fees are charged on some cruises, car hire and/or specialised group tours. This fee, if applicable, is non-refundable and will be clearly shown in the description of the package, facility, service or venue.
GST
Goods and Services Tax or VAT varies from country to country and is included in the price unless otherwise stated. If not included, a Tourist Tax applies in most European countries of between 1EUR and 2EUR per night, which must be paid at the hotel on departure when specified. Port taxes apply to some services on boats and ferries and are payable before disembarking.
HOTEL STANDARDS:
Accommodation standards may not necessarily coincide with other international standards. Rooms are often smaller than similar categories in Australia, double beds are not always available and air conditioning is the exception rather than the rule. Triple share rooms are generally based on an extra rollaway bed, not always suitable for adults. Hotel accommodation is quoted per person and includes VAT, tourist tax and breakfast unless otherwise specified.
AMENDMENTS BEFORE DEPARTURE:
After booking confirmation we allow one amendment free of charge but additional amendments may incur an amendment fee of $55 (incl GST). If we are unable to amend your arrangements due to circumstances beyond our control and you wish to cancel your booking, normal cancellation charges will apply.
AMENDMENTS AFTER DEPARTURE
BS/IT is unable to assist in changing your arrangements after you have left Australia. Should your plans change whilst overseas, the first point of contact should be the service provider listed on the voucher. DOCUMENTATION:
Documentation is normally forwarded to you or your travel agent within 3 weeks of your travel departure date. If you are departing Australia prior to this, it may be necessary to courier documents at your own expense to an overseas address. If documents are lost or an amendment is made which necessitates the re-issue of documents, a charge of $55 (incl GST) will apply.
